How healthy did i eat today? dinner ideas?

Im on a low carb, high protein diet…and trying to eat around 1200-1400 calories a day.

Breakfast: Smoothie made with 1 tbs peanut butter organic, 1 banana, 1 scoop whey protein mix and 1/2 cup silk milk and some ice.
i usually never drink smoothies but my mommy bought a new blender and i wanted to try it out

lunch: 1 weight watchers bagel with 1/2 cup egg beaters, some veggies, weight watchers cheese and 1 slice canadian bacon lean

snack: apple and 1 tbls peanut butter organic.

my mom made smoked ham for dinner…would that be healthy to eat? or should i have a stir fry or some kind of salad with chicken for dinner?
i also have shrimp, imitation crab, a butter nut squash, boneless skinless chicken breast…any ideas? i like to stay away from carbs as much as possibly at night, and keep my dinner pretty light. thanks!

u could have a little ham if that’s what she made and then with it a big salad…maybe eat a few shrimp since that’s a lower fat protein source compared to ham which is high fat..
by the way, eat whole eggs; egg beaters are a waste and not as healthy for weight loss as whole eggs.

I am a 20 year old male (white), I am 6’2 and I weigh around 130-135. I have no medical conditions or disorders, I play sports baseball and basketball year round. There are days when I will eat everything I can possibly find and others where I eat normal, the only thing I drink is water, water and more water. I don’t do drugs or drink alcohol however I do smoke. My first and most important question is can I get bigger now? instead of waiting till’ my 30′s or 40′s? and if so my second question is how do I go about doing that? (I am not asking to end up looking like some ripped, sculpted athlete or body builder, I just want to look like a normal guy you know and be able to take my shirt off or play ball in a wife-beater.) Any info would be great, thanks.

Go to an official site and get educated about your question. You can also speak to a gym instructor at your local gym.

To gain weight you must eat 5-6 meals a day. Stack up on healthy foods and eat a lot of carbs, fats, protein, fiber, creatine.

You also need to lift heavy weights, but start off slow. Look up on an official site to get knowledge upon weight training.

I know it has something to do with the feel-good hormones in my body. But if they re already there, why I cant feel as good always?

because theres a limited amount of the feel good hormones.
Ask any crack smoker the first blast is by far the best. That’s when the gate is released and the built up endorphins come flooding out.

BTW alcolhol doesn’t do that for everybody so you have to be extra vigalent and also realize there’s a host of healthy ways to release those feel good chemicals in a much healthier fashion- such as exercise or even helping others unselfishly
